Aoandon Lime

During the Edo period, a popular parlor game was a "gathering of one hundred super natural tales" (Hyaku monogatari Kaidankai).
As the stories were told, a lantern would be blown out. After the last lantern was extinguished the Aoandon, a demon formed from mass human terror, was said to appear.

The Aoandon mug is plucked right from your nightmares and ready for your favorite cocktail.
Measuring at approximately 9.5" tall and 4" wide, and holds approximately 22oz of liquid.

Handsculpted and slipcast, each mug is hand painted so glaze will slightly vary. Limited run of 40 mugs.
